A programming language that offers you a setting to work with vectored graphics.
Although difficult to tell just from the name, Asymptote is actually a very powerful descriptive language for vectored graphics.
Asymptote gives the user a work setting to draw technical drawings based on co-ordinates. The tags and equations you insert with the well-known LaTex editor, to get quality results.
According to the authors, Asymptote provides a portable standard for typesetting mathematical figures, just as TeX/LaTeX has become the standard for typesetting equations, generates high-quality PostScript, PDF, SVG, or 3D PRC vector graphics, embeds 3D vector PRC graphics within PDF files, was inspired by MetaPost, with a much cleaner, powerful C++-like programming syntax and IEEE floating-point numerics, runs on all major platforms (UNIX, MacOS, Microsoft Windows), is mathematically oriented (e.g. rotation of vectors by complex multiplication), uses simplex method and deferred drawing to solve overall size constraint issues between fixed-sized objects (labels and arrowheads) and objects that should scale with figure size and fully generalizes MetaPost path construction algorithms to three dimensions.
The advantage of Asymptote is that it is a complete programming language, not like other graphic packs of this type. This program is very easy to download, install and then use, through its friendly and intuitive user interface. You don't need any technical experience at all to get the most out of it.
